Intensify Prayers For Divine Intervention _Senator Yar'adua

Senator Abdul’aziz Musa 'Yar'adua of Katsina Central has visited Dutsinma and Kurfi local government areas in continuation of his tour across eleven Local Government Areas of his District for palliative distribution  to vulnerable.

The lawmaker who doubles as Chairman Nigerian Northern Senators Forum and Chairman Senate Committee on Army assured people in the state particularly the frontline areas that, the issue of banditry and kidnapping will soon be a history.

The Senator explained that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Dikko Umar Radda and other governors in the north west have strategised more efforts to mitigate the activities of terrorists and other criminals in the zone for peace to thrive.

He  commended the efforts of federal government for giving directives to the security chiefs to mobilise additional security personnel and war fighting equipments to Katsina and Zamfara States, stressing that the measures have  yielding positive results.

He urged people to intensify prayers to seek divine intervention during the holy month of Ramadan for the government to overcome the security challenges facing the state and the country at large.

The Senator however said government is determined to address the challenges to restore peace and stability across the troubled parts of katsina state, north-west and Nigeria in general.

Senator Yar’adua who earlier visited some communities affected by Banditry, in the two local areas, sympathised with them and condoled with the families of those that lost their loved ones and assured them that governments would do everything possible to address the challenges.

Abdu Soja as popularly known  described the gesture as an act of charity in keeping with the faith to support the needy and poor during the holy month of Ramadan, without political differences.

In their separate speeches, Chairmen of the two respective local government areas expressed appreciation and pledged to identify themselves with the Senator.
